Test of full range of movement between occiput and Atlas. Hold pt chin between finger and thumb, hold the occipital parietal junction. Upp back of the head. Flex and count fingers between chin and chest.

Hand on the transverse processes of the Atlas ( mastoid process), other hand on the forehead. Pt Nod the head holding the neck stable. Hand to stabilise the Atlas, no movement in the rest of the cervical spine.
