師が弟子の悟りの状態を認め、修行の完成を証明すること。

禅の修行者。行く雲や流れる水のように、融通無碍に進む様子をたとえていう。

衣鉢
修行者の衣(袈裟)と鉢(食器)。修行者にとって、もっとも大切な持ち物とされる。師が弟子に教えを伝えることを「衣鉢を伝える」という。
Basic things a learner of Zen carries, namely a rob and meal utensils. Given that they are the basics, teachings also go by the same name.
和尚
寺の住職。華厳宗, 天台宗では「かしょう」、律宗、法相宗,
真言宗では「わじょう」と読む。
