My passion for helping others is something that has driven my opinions and decisions throughout my entire life. It is why I want to pursue a career within the U.S. Navy, and why I want to focus my academic career on marine science. An education in marine science, would allow me to gain a better understanding of how to maintain what encompasses two-thirds of our planet and how it can be used to maintain the other one-third. This passion is what drives me to attend Boston University, and be a part of the excellent Marine Science Program that is offered there.
