I am aiming on being a Marine/Marine Officer after I graduate collage. I want to be a Marine/Marine Officer because I want to fight for a cause, and I just want to be in the Military. A lot of people in my family have been in the Military and I want to be a link in the chain.
To become a Marine you need to have some education and experience of certain types. Some of the education and experience needed is Military knowledge, Military experience, and firearm education(know how to work a gun; know where and where not to aim it). There are a lot of responsibilities of being a marine. Some are to exercise every day, make your bed, keep your quarters clean, etc. There are a lot more responsibilities, but I won’t name then all. I already possess some firearm knowledge. I already exercise every day at home and have strength. I also play airsoft, so I have little skill in deciding what to do with people and how to trick people into thinking the false.
The work environment may very on where you are stationed. If you are stationed in Afghanistan or Iraq it will be hot, sandy and desert like. You could be stationed in a base in the U.S. if you are stationed at a base in the U.S then it will most likely be like whatever season it is.
The average earning for a U.S Marine is $21,639-$72,768. It might be more and it might be less depending on where you are and what you do.
Similar occupations to being a Marine are the Army, Police Officer, Navy, Air Force, Security Guard, etc. Most jobs that include protecting and or defending are similar to the Military.
