“Hello is this Victoria?” asked the office.

“Yes, this is Victoria.”

“Your daughter passed out in class, is it ok if she goes to the hospital?”

“Ok yes!”

I have to get to Bailey and find out what’s wrong!

Bailey is now in the MRI machine and I am in the waiting room at Mercy. The technician brings me in and I gets to see Bailey. Bailey is now saying mom! Because she is embarrassed with her mom. Bailey is now going to lie down on the pallet to be tested he asked Bailey if she wants to listen to music and she says classic. Victoria is thinking that she listens to Z-98? Victoria is *pacing in the hallway thinking to herself about Bailey*

Baileys room is in the main part of the hospital not the pediatric wing. That worried Victoria

I was going to drive to the hospital but my freaking car won’t start. So I went to go rent a car. Butt when I was driving I crashed into a tree. But I was still able to drive.

When I got to the hospital they already told her what happened. They told Bailey that she just had a migraine

    First and foremost, after reading this story, it makes you stop and think of several incidents that can occur within the hospital system. Not just from a nurse’s perspective but also from a parent’s perspective too. It’s scary to think that many patients could be receiving the wrong medication or wrong dose of a medication even after three to five providers verified the medication.
