Patient-centered communication is an important feature that builds up the therapeutic bond between patients and their families, giving a safe and quality care. By taking care of patients needs, a nurse can focus on providing better nutrition advice and promote a healthy lifestyle which would add to patient's general health and safety. By doing proper documentation and effective communication, nurses play a vital role to serve quality care in the nursing profession. To fulfill demands of the healthcare environment, newly graduated nurses should be encouraged to complete therapeutic communication skills.
