Predominantly in the United States, liberty songs have mentioned to protest songs of the opponent, civil rights, and labor movements. Yet, in the context of South Africa, the songs of freedom take on a diverse denotation, in which they are used to refer to a distinctive group of songs that are tied to the fight for racial equivalence during the period of colonial domination. Societies and communities have used songs in the past and bore fruits. Thus the movie Amandla is important to remind the people of South Africa the struggle they underwent so as to gain freedom. These songs will be crucial for future generations who will take time to appreciate the efforts that were done by their fore fathers during the colonization period.by doing so they will be in an opportunity to enhance good relations among the people and thus fostering political and economic development of the people. The society should put all the measures in place so as to ensure that there is art development among the people thus preserving communities’ cultures from one generation to the next. Musicians should be encouraged so as to ensure that information is stored in a long term
