Poverty affects many people worldwide, leaving them with complicated challenges. Most people worldwide live in the state of poverty. Poverty is when a person doesn’t have enough money to satisfy his or/her basic needs, making survival difficult.Poverty is when a person doesn’t have enough money to satisfy his or/her basic needs, making survival difficult. Poverty is a negative place to be in that the majority of the world 's people experience on a daily basis. Poverty is when a person doesn’t have the essential needs that they need in order to survive. Poverty negatively impacts an individual’s emotional, physical, and cognitive aspect because it damages a person’s health,education, and brain development . This leads to low academic achievements which can cause them to drop out of school. “Amongst children who have experienced poverty, those whose parents have completed high school are 11 percent more likely to do the same. On the other hand, children whose parents have more than a high school education are 30 percent more likely to complete high school. Almost five times more likely to complete college than those whose parents did not graduate from high school”. It is showing that basically if a child 's parent has faced poverty then the child will basically do the same as parents and end up not being successful. It is important because education is a main thing that is needed to go further in employment and earn the money in order to pay for things. If their is no education then it 's really hard for a living. . These children miss school more often than other children. It is extremely important to have a good health because if most of the time if your health is bad then it will have a negative impact on not just a child 's education but leads to worse problems during adulthood. It can be difficult for a child to reach key developmental goals for everything from learning, to talking,to reading at a grade school level. The children are more focused on survival and on basic things that they need which causes this to happen. This shows that not only does early childhood poverty negatively impacts the education of a child, but it also causes health issues later on in life in a physical
