Seven time Grammy winner Taylor Swift has dominated the music industry the past few years. 2014 was even dubbed 'The year of Taylor Swift ' because of all she did. Swift came from being bullied in high school to now playing sold out arenas and stadiums. She has done things in music that have never been done before. Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. She spent her early years in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania on her family 's Christmas tree farm. Her first hobby was horse riding, but at the age of nine she turned her attention to musical theater. Taylor was singing in local events at ten years old. It 's because I feel like she 's a genuinely good person and I connect with her music. She has five albums, and all the songs she writes herself. It 's about real things people go through in their lives, and she has a song to go with any mood your feeling. She delivers all these feelings in such a beautiful way in some songs, and in others they are so catchy that you can 't help but love them. But besides her music, I picked her because of how good of a person she is. She 's extremely interactive with fans on social media. She has formed bonds with her fans this way, and has even gone as far to send people presents for Christmas and hand written letters after she talked to them over social media, she has even invited people into her house before. Before her latest album, 1989, was released, she hosted what she called 'The 1989 Secret Sessions. ' These secret session were held in five locations, three of which were at her own personal homes. She invited fans who she new had been there for her over the years to these sessions, and let them listen to 1989 before anyone else did. They also each got to take a picture with Taylor and talk to her for a while. One of the things she 's pushed since she got her start was meeting as many of her fans as possible.
