I have done so by developing member engagement handbook chapters and guidelines in collaboration with other experienced St John Ambulance NSW members. They include general procedures for data collection, recruitment processes, newsletters and incentive schemes. According to members who have just taken on the new role as part of the Member Engagement Team, they are well structured and are easily accessible through google documents and excel spreadsheets. I have also coordinated meetings to promote on this leadership role and to provide an insight on what this role entails. The meetings were all recorded to allow for those who could not attend the meeting to access the content easily. Furthermore, I often conduct training sessions to ensure members are confident and competent in performing the new tasks. The success of this sustainability planning is evident through the positive feedbacks provided from the new leaders and observation of how the new leaders managed to adapt to their new role
