St. Cecilia started to preach about God and was able to convert about four hundred people who later were baptized by Pope Urban. Keep in mind that during this time this was all illegal in some words; St. Cecilia was later arrested by Almachius who condemned her to be suffocated in the baths. She spent one night and one day in the horrible heats, but didn’t seem to be afraid of the fire it self. The executors saw how she wouldn’t burn so they decided to decapitate her but those results were also the same;She died three days after her decapitation. In 1599 officials exhumed her body and found she looked the same way as when she passed away and smelled like flowers.
