My dear Holmes:
If I was compelled to leave you without much news during the early days of my mission you must acknowledge that I am making up for lost time, and that events are now crowding thick and fast upon us. In my last report I ended upon my top note with Barrymore at the window, and now I have quite a budget already which will, unless I am much mistaken, considerably surprise you. At the University of Edinburgh, he met his mentor Dr. Joseph Bell, whose powers of meticulous observational powers influenced him to create the world famous fictional detective character “Sherlock Holmes”. At the university, Doyle was also fortunate enough to get acquainted with authors like James Barrie and Robert Lois Stevenson. It is one of the best stories from the Sherlock Holmes series created by him. From the text, anyone who can understand English will say that it relates to any detective or investigatory incident. Before I should tell anything about the text, I must first tell the brief summary of the story from which it is taken.
In it Dr. Mortimer is the family doctor of sir Charles Baskervilles. Due to the sudden death of sir Charles he goes to Mr. Holmes for investing about the tragedy. Dr. Mortimer told Mr. Holmes about the curse on Baskerville family that how a hound is killing every decendent of that family since Hugo Baskerville. He also provided some proof about this & also disclosed that there was a footprint of a hound near the dead body of the
