In considering the two types of sources—primary and secondary—I think that each has their strengths. However, I think that primary sources are ultimately the best way to learn about the past, because they are more memorable, more interesting, and easier to empathize with. The first advantage to primary sources is that they are more memorable. The point of history, of course, is to learn about the past, and so this is an important concern.…

“Scholarly articles are written by experts studying in a particular field, offering credibility to your research by providing interpretation of material by scholars (1).” Learning from scholars of a subject may be great but nothing beats an expert who actually lived an event rather than someone studying a true expert. There will be times where secondary sources are in some way better. Sometimes, primary sources will be outdated and hard to…

After reading and thinking carefully about the Unit 2 Case Study, I would rate the four characters in this way: Responsibility for Reggie's failing grade ***************************************** Reggie - 1 (most responsible) Arnie - 2 Sally - 3 Prof. Lovelit - 4 (least responsible) In my view, Reggie is most responsible for his own failing grade, due to his decision to: 1) not do the homework (reading), and 2) willfully take the essay from the internet and plagiarize. Arnie is number two on my list (in Reggie's failing grade), not because he also plagiarized, but because he was complicit in allowing his classmate to plagiarize. Arnie's response should have been to strongly remind a fellow student that plagiarism will only lead to a failing…

Evidence-Based Questions 1.Who can I seek out to assist me in enhancing my evidence-based practice (EBP) knowledge and skills and serve as my EBP mentor? Mentorship in evidence-based practice should be bidirectional. The process requires a nurse to seek mentorship from various sources, given that there is nobody who can have entire knowledge about a given subject in nursing. Consequently, I believe that I need to seek assistance from the nurses who have experience in the facility I am working in while also referring to the existing information from scholarly work, including scholarly journals, especially those from the recent studies conducted in the specific field of my interest at a given time. In this case, I should use PICOT, search for…

I also used my sources to support and negate my claims. All during this time, I was having to think critically as to how this source effectively fits into a specific category or whether or not I am making it understandable for everyone to read and understand. The peer review of this assignment was very beneficial.…
