Domestic violence is a major issue in Saudi Arabia, but it is overlooked a lot because
the society of Saudi Arabia doesn’t see a problem with it. The only individuals that do have an
issue are the women that. They are afraid to speak up and say anything about it. Things are done
differently in Saudi Arabia than in the United States. What one might view as a crime or being
cruel maybe perceived as normal to the leader of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is a monarchy

Saudi Arabia on the Commission on the Status of Women. It is an international organization
responsible for the “promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women,”
Even with the stigma of the Islamic law in Saudi Arabia, domestic violence against women
needs to come to an end completely. If people around the world would open their eyes to the
troubles in Saudi Arabia and lend a helping hand, than a lot of their problems would go away. It
is understood that usually, other countries tend to try to mind their own business and only focus
on domestic issue, however they should try to help whenever they have a chance. The issues in
Saudi Arabia are usually not seen as important because of the fact that the foreign policies of
other countries tend not to apply to countries who are not supplying the resources other countries
need. Western influence also tends to destroy ties that Saudi Arabia has with other countries.
