There are many pros and cons to NAFTA, and a lot of it depends on the person. A reason that one person believes NAFTA was a great agreement may be the same reason that another person dislikes it. A con of NAFTA is that mexico has an absolute advantage. Mexico produces the most outputs, meaning that they have an absolute advantage.They experienced dramatic increase in exports from about $60 billion in 1994, to about $400 billion in 2013. Also, Mexico has an absolute advantage in terms of jobs because more lower paying jobs are available in Mexico/ are the ones moving to mexico, and there are many people that are willing to take them. Also, If environmental standards were lowered for Mexico, they would get an absolute advantage since they would
