Example Of A Narrative Essay About A Restaurant

Have you ever played a game of roulette? Well, I just did, one day I was randomly browsing places to have brunch in La Jolla California, it’s always hit or miss. Well, good thing this place I stumbled upon was a hit! I like to try new places and experience new foods so I went into this restaurant without any bias from Yelp reviews or opinions from friends to truly get my own experience and not have the availability to compare it to anything else. What a sensitive game to play especially when it comes to food. Saturday, April 16th, my roommate and I decided to do a brunch for her birthday, somewhere both of us had never had before. The Cottage showed up first under my Google search of “Best brunch spots in La Jolla California”, so we decided to try it out. The appearance of the restaurant resembles a small little cottage but more modernized than the ones you’d read about in a child’s novel. There was the option of either outdoor or indoor dining, and it was such a beautiful day we decided to dine outdoors. Once seated you are greeted by your server, who asks “Have you dined with us before?” …show more content…
From the comfortable seating outdoors and the "family feel" hospitality of the servers, it really gave off the atmosphere of being at home with people you know and can trust. Rhetoric is also very evident when you ask your server(as I did), “What would you get the special of the day? Or the Baja Chicken Hash?” and the type of diction and imagery details that they use in describing their entree options really helps the customer decides, as well as feel comfortable that the server actually has tried these food options and they are giving you the most genuine reasoning for why one would be tastier than the other that they can. I highly recommend everyone to play a game of restaurant roulette, you never know you may just find your new favorite

The smell can be compared to your first meal after eating a month of hotdogs and ramen noodles. When you consider the price and the friendly environment of the restaurant you would not expect much quality in the food. The quantity of the food depends on what you order. The customer can order either a half slab or full slab of ribs. A steak can be as small as a six ounce to a 23 ounce steak cooked to order.…

If you do not wish to utilize the valet parking, you can park right around the corner. Parking is never an issue at this location, it’s in a safe area, and its right by the mall, so you can even go shopping after your lunch or dinner. The wait staff were very proficient, dressed professionally, white dress shirts, with black dress pants and the service was outstanding. From the minute you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by the host, seated right away, although, during dinner time, there might be a little wait, but it’s worth it. The drinks, the meal, and the desert came out flawless, as well as the service.…

The atmosphere is good for couples looking for a romantic get-away and for families alike. We 've tried several meals from Redrock, and our top recommendation are their Pork chops and their Root beer float. Give them a try if you haven 't! As for the service, it 's the type of wait service where all the waiters and waitresses help one another, and they do so with efficiency and grace. Fantastic restaurant!”…

Olive Garden Evaluation Most of the time, when a couple goes out to eat, and the guy asks the girl what she wants to have for dinner, she has absolutely no idea what she wants. It is the hardest decision, and us girls have a long process of deciding if a certain restaurant fits our every need. It’s not about whether we want that type of food or not; it’s about other characteristics of the restaurant as well. Trying to pick out a restaurant to have dinner at, Olive Garden was a choice on the list. Wanting it to be the perfect restaurant to eat at, I had a list of criteria that it must meet, and if it didn’t, then it would be eliminated.…

A Taste of Great Quality There are thousands of different restaurants across the country where people can either wait five minutes for their lunch in a drive-thru lane but pay for rude service and processed food, and some where formal attire is required and food and beverages are so expensive they break the bank. What if there was a restaurant that offered both? A restaurant where service is top-of- the-line, food is warm and fresh, and the setting is elegant but inexpensive? A restaurant like this is not easy to find but thankfully, it does exist.…

Growing up in an environment that mostly eats meals at home, I was hardly introduced to restaurants. As a result, of mostly eating meals at home, restaurants never really satisfied my taste buds, due to the fact that my mom’s home cooked meals are twice as delicious. Moreover, it was later on in life when I started eating at restaurants, in which have given me a lot of wonderful memories I will never forget. Despite, not eating out a lot when I was younger it has become part of my life style ever since I have started working and attending college. It seems as if fast food has become a routine in today’s society. For most people it might be a daily trip to McDonalds for breakfast or Hardee’s for a lunch break, or driving home after a long day of work and stopping at burger king. It almost seems as if it can dominate an individual’s choice when it comes to food. Most people can’t afford to do this. When eating at fast food restaurants it results in consuming more calories than the normal level, which eventually causes an extra gain of weight, which then can result in obesity.…

The most delightful restaurant in town is the Culver's of Olathe. When walking into the building you are immediately greeted by all of the employees with a friendly hello. While waiting in line, you can hear the hums coming from the retail freezer containing all of the delicious fresh frozen custard, and the occasional laughs of the patrons in the dining room. As I am sitting in one of the intimate booths, I can feel the soft and comfortable seat cushion. It doesn't take very long for the food to arrive, and when the meal arrives the aroma of the food is overwhelming.…

The server gives us menu, and asks us what we want to eat and he can recommence to us. As a foreigner, I think the menu in this restaurant very clearly, I can understand. We order a salad which named grilled shrimp & strawberry salad.
