In high school when I played basketball I used to always believe the coaches had an undemanding and enjoyable job, but what I soon learned was that coaching can be fun but has much responsibility attached to it. This job was going to assist me in being a responsible person. My most important tasks in this job were to arrive at practice on time, facilitate and maintain the practice time was on schedule, provide help to those who requested, and dress with a professional appearance for games. This relates directly to patients coming in for an eye appointment. Patients come into the optometrist for checkups or help with a problem they may be having. It will be my job responsibility with my expertise to provide them that service. I believe, the experience I had in providing players with feedback and input was sound advice that helped the player’s offense, defense, and even their personal game.
