Personal Narrative: My Passion For Football

I have an extreme passion for football. It is my personal favorite sport. We were coming off an ok year and looked to strive for better. We practiced very hard and looked to be the most conditioned team in the conference. Our hard work paid off as we started the season 4-0 and looked like one of the strongest teams in the conference. Next we faced the New Cumberland Saints, another 4-0 team. The game was a hard fought battle fought in the trenches. Both offenses were struggling to get anywhere. The game went to overtime at 0-0. We got the ball first, we blocked and fought through a stellar defense to barely score a touchdown. Now it was time to get the extra point. We fought hard in the trenches but sadly couldn’t pull it off. Now the Saints
