Personal Essay: The Influence Of Faith And Belief

Improved Essays

How many of us still hold beliefs that our parents or grandparents had? Those beliefs shape our behaviors and how the world is affected by them, and the more people who believe the same thing, the more impact that belief has.

This is why it is important to release beliefs that no longer serve you or the world around you. And the only way to do that is to gain awareness into how your beliefs are really affecting your life.

Are they helping you gain success or happiness? Or are they keeping you stuck and limiting your ability to get the life you want?

Are they hurting the people around you and affecting your relationships negatively? Or are they uplifting to others and drawing people to you?

Take a step back and evaluate your beliefs and the power they have over your life. Because you have the power to change your beliefs, and that is something that will have a dramatic impact on your life now and in the future.

The Power Of Faith And Belief

In the end, faith and belief are two things that you have complete control over. Even if your life gets turned upside down in an instant, as Viktor Frankl's did, you can still choose where your faith and beliefs lie. Make sure they work in your favor and help you live the life you really want to

In my opinion, the answer to each of these questions is generally straightforward. What is real? Faith. Faith in others, faith in a higher power, and faith in oneself.…
