The Unorthodox, Violent Film of 1994 The Miramax film, Pulp Fiction (1994) is considered a crime drama directed and produced by Quentin Tarantino, this label does not even begin to describe this outstanding, unorthodox film. From the beginning and in the end of Pulp Fiction it does a fundamental job with the same scene which includes: Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, and guns. In this scene, the viewer gets a little bit of comedy, action, and the death of the more criminal criminals.
After being told about Pulp Fiction by my Uncle Michael I told myself I would watch it. At the time I had a lot going on and I let time slip away. Two months later my Uncle Michael had passed.

Instead, it somehow is able to connect the lives of: mobsters, small-town criminals, and fringe players. Characters endure a series of awkward situations in which at least one person in every scene basically either dies or faces death. The scenes are so memorable I literally say at least three quotes from this movie often. The characters in this movie do such a marvelous job that they are unforgettable. After Jules Winnfield is nearly heartless and a huge badass throughout the movie in the end instead of killing a man and a woman he gives them all of his money and allows them to live. I think the point was to show that even the most heartless men can have a sweet spot. I bought it and ate up this scene, not literally of …show more content…
Some still argue saying that no movie has been created and produced since to it’s parr. This film successively intertwines three short stories in order to tell a bigger story that padics the violence of American gangsters, the booming drug life, and video games. Series of events somehow related, yet all separate stories of comedy and crimes are told along with their effects. Each unexpected event are results of negligence which includes sudden deaths, plot twists, dark humor, and horrific consequences. These crimes do a beautiful job at taking the movie into an entirely new, unique twist made to take you on a

I watched Fatal Attraction with a friend and I said to him "that's what you get when you just want some fun for the weekend". Although going with Alex was a decision Dan made it was very unfortunate that the woman he had an affair with was extremly crazy. I doubt that Alex got pregnen, if she was obssesed with Dan she could have made everything up. I don't belive Dan seen as a hero at the end of the movie because it has his wife the one that had the last shot, literally in the theatrical ending and figuratevly in the orginal ending.…

When I think about Quentin Tarantino I think about Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django Unchained, Kill Bill, Inglorious Bastards—all amazing films worth recognizing. I feel like Quentin Tarantino has talent; he’s gifted and knows how to put a film together for the enjoyment of the audience. ‘The Hateful Eight’ has an amazing cast with Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh and even Channing Tatum is in this film. Tarantino definitely does not have an issue finding A-list actors for his films. ‘The Hateful Eight’ is essentially about a bounty hunter, John “Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell), who will take his bounty, dead or alive; and Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who happens to be alive, because the hangman always delivers his bounty to the noose, to Little Rock.…

In focusing on a narrative form that he terms as ludic, Newman looks at the work of the teasing inside joke and the enigma of the puzzle film. The word ludic was created around 1940 by psychologists as a way of describing the play of children, and applied to film, Newman informs us that this game-like form “… offers its own rewards, its own pleasures.” As a demonstration of these “pleasures,” Newman reads Pulp Fiction (1994) as a puzzle created for spectator entertainment, that uses the form of its “out-of-order storytelling” as a way of playing with spectators, and ultimately pulling them into the pleasure of the game, as opposed to treating the film as an art form that has been created in the shape of a puzzle. To do this, Newman holds…

Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino’s film is violent yet comical, modish and filled with thrilling different plot twists making it hyper-real as Henry A Giroux has stated. The elements of hyper-reality helps the audience distinguish reality from imitation making us question and think on how to perceive the film. At the beginning of the film Pulp Fiction defines pulp giving the audience two definitions but the second one is clearly the more relevant one. Pulp is defined as “A magazine or book containing lurid subject matter and being characteristically printed on rough, unfinished paper,” which may be telling the audiences to not take this film as serious as it can be an item of pulp fiction. This film is mixture of neo-noir with post-modernism…

Orson Welles’ film Citizen Kane (1941) is significant in the movie world because of the innovations it made not only in technique, but also in how films were conceptualized. It planted seeds for the film noir movement that was to come, and popularized lighting, angling, and transitioning methods filmmakers still use today. But Welles’ greatest legacy in Citizen Kane lies in his ability, through casting, plot, and cinematographic choices, to paint a man whose life is corrupted and ultimately destroyed by an unwavering lust for fulfillment of the “American Dream” through fame, fortune, and power. One technique that Citizen Kane has come to be known for is the use of deep focus shots. These shots required a careful balance of lighting and composition,…
