The collection of paintings, crafts, and writing shows how sophisticated the culture of the Mongolian Empire became. The empire was extremely rich in luxuries so many crafts and clothing were made with gold and/or jewelry. Also, theater performances became increasingly popular thanks to them being so popular with the Chinese in the first place. The Mongolians were also great appreciators of paintings and the ancient writing system of the Mongols took many forms through much influence from the Chinese and later adapted to a vertical version of Sanskrit
