Question 2 Max Weber’s concept of realization is that generations in a family are trapped “by their industrious way of life in what is called an iron cage of bureaucratic rules.” (Ferris, Jill Stein)(28). What this is saying that these families will have a certain rule the family that tells them they can or cannot do an action. Because of the action the person does will cause harm to the family’s future. The example of this would be to not work on Sundays and be in church. If the family member skips church to work then they will be accosted by the church for not being there. C. Wright Mills and sociological imagination “describes a quality of mind that social analysts seem to possess.” (Ferris, Jill Stein)(13). Mills’ example of this is that you may not be able to get a job because you think you don’t have the right education or experience, but it real problem is the job got outsourced because of the economy.
