There are many sociological perspectives that are used to get a better understanding of society. The three main one that will be discussed is the Functionalist perspective. Criticism of other sociology perspectives will also be implemented. According to Crossman, (2016), the functionalist perspective is one of the major theoretical perspectives in sociology.
