I found Charles Mills to be convincing on account of how he recognizes and admits that he is aware that John Locke’s definitions of equality are extremely dated. But for readers that do not feel like Locke is dated and read him as quite liberal, this is where there may be some discrepancy between how they conceptualized Locke.
