On December 5, 2015 I attended the Living Christmas Tree. The play was held at Park Avenue Baptist Church located on 900 Park Ave in Mt Vernon, IL. The play started at 7 pm and lasted for an hour and a half. The entire time the church was filled with holiday spirit in preparation for the approaching Christmas day. The church was filled with people, there was not a seat left in the house. The church pews on the ground floor and the balcony were packed tightly with audience members. The etiquette for the performance was Sunday best with a holiday twist. The most common attire for women was a skirt with a Christmas sweater and boots. The men typically wore slacks with either a red or green dress shirt accompanied by a Christmas tie and dress
