This week’s major headline was the earthquake that tore Italy down to the ground, reading about it in a couple different news articles gave an entire different perspective. First, according to BBC News the main topic was the huge earthquake that affected the middle area of Italy, the quake’s power was 6.2 magnitude it covered all international and local news, it killed up to 120 people, and injured up to 360 people. Also, this earthquake destroyed all the buildings in the middle of the city. Second, according to the Huffington post more and more bodies are being found after the devastating earthquake, rescuers are discovering more bodies and trying to investigate and ask survivors about the numbers of people living in that area so they can speed up the search and decrease the search area. Last but not least, Reuters news reports that Italy quake toll hits 250 as rescuers search flattened towns, the 6.2 magnitude quake struck a large cluster of mountains and communities within 140 km (85 miles) radius east of Rome early on Wednesday destroying thousands of homes and shops, causing a large number of deaths and destructions. …show more content…
