Cape Cod has beautiful beaches and beautiful weather. The beaches have the silkiest sand, and the bluest skies. Regular visitors and locals refer to Cape Cod as, simply, The Cape. For all of the years that I have been going to The Cape, there have only been five or six rainy days. The temperature is never too hot, or too cold, and the water is perfect on the beaches. I had the best lobster roll of my life. It was made of chopped, fresh lobster in between two toasted rolls, and had a delicious sauce on the top. I will never forget the taste of this delicious lobster roll. Of all the delicious food I have had while visiting The Cape, the lobster roll is by far my favorite. Another day at The Cape had come to an end. I actually enjoy going to bed at The Cape, because it means another great day will be waiting for me when I wake up.
Going to the beach is basically what we did every day, until we decided to visit Plymouth Rock. Our whole family was really excited to see where the Pilgrims landed, but it was really anti-climatic. It was basically just a broken rock no bigger than a school desk. But I still thought that it was amazing that this rock was the first thing the Pilgrims saw. Another memorable day.
Two days before we left, my dad and I went on a bike ride. We rode for about ten miles before turning back and riding another ten. Lets just say that I got my workout for the day! The Cape has miles and miles of bike trails that run through wooded areas, along the ocean and everywhere in between. Someday, I would like to ride every
