Personal Narrative: My Visit To Kings Island

When I went to Kings Island

A few years ago my family and I went to Kings Island. Kings Island is located in Mason, Ohio. I went with all of my family including; Me, my parents, my brother, my uncles, and my grandma. When we went to Kings Island we drove from my house, stopped at my grandma’s house in Indianapolis. Then after we stayed a day at her house, we drove to my uncle’s house. We stayed at my uncle's house who lives on the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Kings Island is an amusement park in Mason, Ohio. Mason, Ohio is about 24 miles northeast of Cincinnati. The size of the park is about 346 acres. The park is owned and operated by the Cedar Fair, The park was first opened by the Taft Broadcasting Company in 1972. The park used to be

They did this so there was no conflict with school, and the adults had in advanced taken the time off of work. The day before we had packed all of the bags, including clothes, hygienic items, and swimwear. Then the next day we left early in the morning to get to my grandma's house at a decent time. Since she lives in Indianapolis it was about a three-hour drive, but because of traffic, it was a four and a half hour drive. During the drive, my little brother was not that much of a problem, until he pooped himself. It was the worst smell in the world, but gladly we were close to a McDonalds. So when we stopped we got some food, went to the bathroom, and my mom had changed the baby. When we set off again it was a quiet car ride, I was listening to music, my older brother fell asleep, and my little brother was throwing his toys onto my lap and I had to give them back, but if I did not he would start to wine. Although after some time I got tired and fell asleep. Not much happened during that time except for the part that I was sleeping and it was raining. When we hit the traffic it was not a fun experience. We sat in the car for awhile, but then after some time, we shut off the car to conserve the battery. An hour and a half passed before the traffic let up and we started on our trek …show more content…
This time instead of stopping at my grandma’s house we went straight home.
Overall, this trip was a blast even though the car rides were long. The time that I spent with my family was worth the trip. Also when we went to the amusement park I enjoyed my time. Although I was sad when we went
