Yet, the question still lies, does racism still exist in our society? I like to believe that we feed into this question by standing by and allowing certain actions go unnoticed. We all have seen the recent news reports going on with the cases on Michael Brown and Eric Garner and Police officers. I think modern racism is often expressed in side comments, "jokes", and stereotypes. Also when thinking about racism, in our society we solely often turn to think about African Americans. Hispanics often are discriminated against and we often hear comments about them being migrant workers.
