However, this absolutely, 100 percent cannot be true. First, the call lasted two minutes and twenty-two seconds. Why in the world would someone answer their phone and listen to absolutely nothing for two minutes and 22 seconds? Second, Nisha’s phone did not have a voicemail. (Koenig, “The case Against Adnan Syed”). Therefore, the two minutes and 22 seconds could not just be a soundless voicemail.
In conclusion, Adnan Syed is guilty of murder for numerous reasons. Three incriminating pieces of evidence are the Nisha call, the fact that Adnan has no alibi, and Mr. Syed’s reaction to the whole situation. Overall, Jay’s timeline matches Adnan’s call log which proves an unusually calm and alibi-less Adnan killed Hae Min
