These people are confident and strong, it takes so much to get up and do what they are doing, and our government is stripping their self-confidence away, making them feel as though they are outcasts to society. Everyone should be protected by the law as well as treated equally in the eyes of the law, including transgender people. Transgender identity is not a mental illness, as many people think and it, it cannot be cured with medication; they are humans entitled to equal rights. Frankly, things need to change, the Supreme Court should not discriminate against transgender people because they identify with the opposite sex as when they were born; they should be allowed to use the bathroom they identify
