believe that police misconduct is outrageous in the United States of America. Even most officers

are good and follow proper procedures, we should look at the other side of the problem because

sometimes victims are more of perpetrators who share in the blame and the police officer isn’t

always in the wrong.

Most police officers are good and follow proper procedures. Out of all the police officers

in the United States of America there were only 1,100 people killed in 2014 by police officers.

There are approximately 100,000 police officers in the United States.

Who knows how many cases

there are about Police Officers doing good deeds, but we know all the statistics about the

deaths by Police Officers. That is because we pay too much attention to the negative and not the positive. You can spend your whole life building up a good reputation, but it can

all change with a single action.

Even though most officers are good and follow procedures, we should look at the other

blame. In the month of April 2015 in Miami, Florida. Theodist Grimes III, and Wendel Trenell

Clark. Both of them being Miami residents and convicted felons. They were accompanied by a

third man who was also a convicted felon. They entered a store to confront two men who they

believed was the man who stole their friend’s gun. After they confronted the believed thief, they

left the store and went to their vehicle. At their vehicle they armed themselves with two

handguns and an AK-47. People in the store called 911 bringing the Miami-Dade Police Force
