These breakthroughs led to more efficient blood collection methods, transfusion techniques, and further discoveries in blood testing.
Today you can find phlebotomists working in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, surgical centers, urgent care offices, blood donation clinics, and private laboratories. Phlebotomists jobs encompass a variety of tasks that extend past blood collecting.
