The Epic of Gilgamesh had many stories to tell within itself. I feel as though I relate to story, more than to the literary aspects but more of a personal. At some point of my life growing up I felt the need to be greedy similar to GIlgamesh, never setting for less wanting the best for myself and not focusing on others.
The moral of the epic contains Enkidu and Gilgamesh who are similar in various ways and both need a fixer upper because they have one flaw they can't help that needs changing. The best way to change Gilgamesh's act or get rid of him was by creating him a best friend. I found this to be interesting how a book so old can still relate to certain occurrences is this era. Having a best friend or girl friend can play a role in making a change within ones life to see the wrong doing.As Enkidu helped Gilgamesh become a better leader and help fulfil the community needs Giligamesh did the same for his pal.
