As stated above. The morning teacher of my class asks the parents of her children about their culture and family rituals and incorporates that into the classroom. Also, some of the children that I’ve worked with in the past have sometimes not prayed because it was something that the family did not do at home. Because of this I first explained to the child that praying before a meal is good and explain how God blesses us with food and friends so we should pray and thank him for these wonderful gifts. After that happened I brought it to my director’s attention and asked her for advise and she said continue to explain how God blesses each of us with all kinds of good things. Such as, family, food, friends, clothes and many more things. The next day the morning teacher talked about that child’s culture and explained how all people are different but we are all God’s creation. The children were all excited to learn about new cultures and how people live and what they eat. They even did a food experiment over what the children from that specific culture ate. The child that was once not wanting to pray was all of a sudden intrigued by the fact that he was God’s creation and that God does many things that we call blessings
