My strengths in empathy are I show respect for others, I treat others fairly, I listen attentively, I notice and analyze others emotions, I speak in a friendly tone, and I show enthusiasm when appropriate. What this means is I have respect for all my peers and I know how to treat everyone fairly by not being nicer to someone just because they are my friend, or if I do not like someone then I will still be respectful towards them and their opinions. I also can see and realize when someone is not in a good mood, or if they are happy. What I mean by this is whenever someone is in need someone to listen they can talk to me I am there to support them. I practice active listening and let whoever is talking completely express themselves so I can get an understanding of what is going on and why they are feeling like this. Next, I show my support by not being judgemental and showing compassion even though I may not agree with what they are saying. Then, I share some of my personal experiences that are similar to what this person is going through and I think it will help. Finally, I will spend time with this to show that I have empathy and I care. I can use all of these characteristics in a business by whenever a coworker has a problem I will be there to listen and show
