Empathy Strengths

An overall pattern that I saw in the presentations today was to show empathy but not too much, be reasonable and respectful, and show other people you care and understand what others are feeling.These patterns are important because empathy is a necessary not only in business but in the world around us. These trends help make clear of what is empathy and how to use it.
My strengths in empathy are I show respect for others, I treat others fairly, I listen attentively, I notice and analyze others emotions, I speak in a friendly tone, and I show enthusiasm when appropriate. What this means is I have respect for all my peers and I know how to treat everyone fairly by not being nicer to someone just because they are my friend, or if I do not like someone then I will still be respectful towards them and their opinions. I also can see and realize when someone is not in a good mood, or if they are happy. Another one is I am always talking to everyone in a friendly and approachable tone so they can feel comfortable talking to me. Finally, I am good at using enthusiasm at the

What I mean by this is whenever someone is in need someone to listen they can talk to me I am there to support them. I practice active listening and let whoever is talking completely express themselves so I can get an understanding of what is going on and why they are feeling like this. Next, I show my support by not being judgemental and showing compassion even though I may not agree with what they are saying. Then, I share some of my personal experiences that are similar to what this person is going through and I think it will help. Finally, I will spend time with this to show that I have empathy and I care. I can use all of these characteristics in a business by whenever a coworker has a problem I will be there to listen and show
