Business owners should not be able to deny service based on their religious beliefs on sexual orientation. Denying service based on their religious beliefs on sexual orientation is discrimination, violates legal and human rights, and uses invalid religious beliefs. Denying service based on their religious beliefs on sexual orientation is discrimination.
Businesses denying same-sex couples service based on their religious beliefs on sexual orientation would burden, demean, and stigmatize the couple. By denying service to the couple would embarrass them like they're any less of a person because of who they love. Also they may feel belittled and feel as if they were stripped of their dignity.

“In New Mexico, a photographer declined to take pictures of a lesbian couple’s commitment ceremony. In Washington State, a florist would not provide flowers for a same-sex wedding. And in Colorado, a baker refused to make a cake for a party celebrating the wedding of two men”.
In all these cases the business owners cited religious beliefs in declining to provide services celebrating same-sex relationships. And in each case, they were sued. These are just a few of the numerous incidents where people were discriminated against for the sexual orientation. Business owners shouldn’t be able to cite religious beliefs as a legal justification for denying service to same-sex couples.
With increasing frequency, we are seeing individuals and businesses claiming a right to discriminate, by refusing to provide services to same-sex couples and LGBT people, based on religious objections.
Business owners claim that they do not have to follow the laws but can instead refuse to provide services, including lodging, wedding dresses, and photography services, because the owners object to same-sex relationships. Everyone is entitled to their own religious beliefs, but when you operate a business or run a publicly funded social service agency open to the public, those beliefs do not give you a right to
