China is facing a labor shortfall due to a rapidly aging population as the result of the one-child policy, According to Doc E, factories have experienced youth-labor shortages in recent years. It is true that modern Chinese young men and women who born under this policy are more educated than previous generations, as their parents can focus all their attention and resources on one child.
