It is clear that in today’s world the consent of crime and deviancy are redefined in our communities. Many types of deviant behavior are normalized; not only citizens but also the authorities are ignoring these things, which can be considered as criminal acts. Daniel Patrick Moynihan showed throughout his paper that redefining deviancy is what is keeping us from being a healthy society.
