Leukemia Leukemia is a type of cancer which attackes in the tissue responsible for the production of blood cells. It also include bone marrow and lymphatic system. Usually this type of cancer begins in the white blood cells. It destrois white blood cells ability to repel and fight off infection and various infections. Overall the growth of these cells are very sound and it is divided by the body's needs. But, in the case of leukemia ,bone marrow in the body produces a very large amount of abnormal white blood cells that can not function as it should.
