What does cancer cell mean?
Normal cells can repair themselves if any part gets damaged . This process is known as DNA repair. If the damage is too bad, they will self slaughter- known as apoptosis. (1)
The molecules in cancer cells decide whether a cell should repair itself or not .EX: “a protein called p53 normally checks to see if the genes can be repaired or whether the cell should die”, so basically it decides to repair itself. But many cancers have a wrong machine version of p53, so they don't repair themselves properly.Cancer cells don't repair themselves or die. (1)
Even a single mistake at the process of repairing themselves, can lead to problems …show more content…

Cancerous tumors are distinguished by cell division, which is no longer controlled by a normal tissue. The normal cells stop dividing when they come into contact with like cells,a mechanism known as “contact inhibition".Cancerous cells lose their ability .
The concept of chemotherapy is to kill cancer cells and it depends on its ability to hold cell division. Usually, cancer drugs work by damaging the RNA or DNA that basically tells the cell how to replicate or copy itself in cell division. If the cancer cells don’t divide on time, they die. The faster the cancer cells divide, the more likely it is that chemotherapy will kill the cells, causing the tumor to shrink. The cell can also commit a suicide(Self death). (1)
Chemotherapy drugs try to kill all the cancer cells. It tries to protect you from the cancer cells that destroy your DNA or RNA. Only thing is if the cancer cells don’t divide on time, they die.
Chemotherapy is most effective at killing cells that are rapidly dividing. Unfortunately, chemotherapy does not know the difference between cancer cells and normal cells. The cancer cell will turn back into normal cell but it has some side effects as well- Hair …show more content…
Here are some methods and their functions-
Surgery
Easiest way to prevent yourself from cancer cells but is expensive. Chemotherapy
Cancerous tumors are distinguished by cell division, which is no longer controlled by a normal tissue. The normal cells stop dividing when they come into contact with like cells,a mechanism known as “contact inhibition".Cancerous cells lose their ability. Radiation Therapy
Radiation uses a lot high energy tools to prevent you from cancer.
Final conclusion of the case on cancer cell.
In this project, we studied the effects of cancer cells on your body and how it operates. How a simple normal cell can transfer into a cancer cell ? We have learned how cancer cells and normal cells differ from each other. Also,we have learnt that cancer only starts when you begin to act in a totally different manner.Growth of a cancer cell as compared to normal cell is different. Instead of dying ,the cancer cells form newer ones called abnormal cells. Cancer cells can also occupy other tissues, something that a normal cell cannot do. We learnt about Chemotherapy and other
