Religious and Spiritual views on homosexuality
Religion and spirituality are two linked yet distinct areas associated with faith that can either be combined or treated individually overall. Nowadays, people are becoming losing faith therefore becoming less religious and motivated to believe in a religion, or in spirituality due to the shift in society’s expectations. Religion organizes or formalizes spirituality. Spirituality is more like an individual practice and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose. It also relates to the process of developing beliefs around the meaning of life and connection with others.
While religion is a specific set of organized beliefs and practices, usually shared by a community or group. According to Oxford dictionary, religion is “the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.” …show more content…

Though all religions emphasize spirituality as being an important part of faith, it’s possible to be spiritual without necessarily being a part of an organized religious group.
