Religion and spirituality are two linked yet distinct areas associated with faith that can either be combined or treated individually overall. Nowadays, people are becoming losing faith therefore becoming less religious and motivated to believe in a religion, or in spirituality due to the shift in society’s expectations. Religion organizes or formalizes spirituality. Spirituality is more like an individual practice and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose. It also relates to the process of developing beliefs around the meaning of life and connection with others.
