Spirituality and religion are two related and yet different words linked with faith. First of all it is important to define the meaning of Spirituality and Religion. Spirituality means believing more about oneself and the existence of different spiritual paths such as material or physical things and Religion is the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. There are many religions in the world, so often people have different meanings of religion and spirituality. The word spirituality is intellectual belief, whereas religion is a belief system.
Spirituality is one of the most important beliefs in human life. A person who claims to be spiritual does spiritual things like praying, meditating, reading scripture, give charity. Spirituality is more practiced in western countries than other countries, especially in Muslim countries. In contrast, Muslims believe that there is only one God (Allah), who is the most powerful and rules the world and all the things that exist in it. Muslims believe that Jesus is a prophet just like Mohamed, Moses, and Noah peace be upon them all. So, Muslims practice religion and discourage its followers the belief of spirituality. Spirituality is more about self-belief and religion is the belief of the existence of God. Some countries in the world practice religions more than spirituality while others practice spirituality more than religions.
In conclusion, spirituality and religion are two related words, yet they differ in faith. People who practice spirituality do many things, such as going to church, mosque, yoga, and many other things. Whereas religion is a set system followed by many people around the world. Spirituality doesn’t have only one meaning to people. But everyone does different spiritual things they are happy
