This quote applies to many aspects of life, including that of a person working in customer service, someone in a large industry like The Kroger Company. At the Kroger in Johnstown, Ohio one may find a friendly staff who shows interest in customers lives but lack a knowledge of what they do and overall do not meet the next level of customer service a shopper may look for.

Having a better understanding of the job these workers preform would benefit not only themselves but supply the better shopping experience the consumers want and often need. The staff was shown to be a friendly, welcoming crew who lacked a sufficient work ethic and desire in their specific jobs. Not one group could be blamed for such circumstances, it is more of a few individuals giving the majority a bad image. Consumers should also make sure and voice any concerns they have at their local grocery store, without their insight of a non-employee, the staff may not realize what they do or why their actions or words may be construed as inappropriate or wrong. The solutions offered could be a start to helping with this issue but without an overall change in heart and the employees recognizing their lack of service for customers is the only thing that can bring a solid foundation for
