Candidate Gustafson displayed understanding of the FRAG-O and the task at hand. During the initial brief to his fire team he was very confident; he stayed focused on his task and followed the 5 paragraph order. During the execution phase. SNC positioned himself effectively to be in full control of the fire team and to better execute his initial plan, however, SNC’s initial plan was unsuccessful when one of the fire team members fell in the water resulting in the team suffering a 60 second penalty without that candidate. The team was penalized 60 secs. Candidate Gustafson handled the situation without hesitation and was in full control. He was able to make timely adjustment as soon as the initial plan failed.
