Getting hired by the Central Intelligence Agency has been my primary focus for almost four years now. While I was still serving in the Army I had decided to start college classes so as to expedite the process of getting my degree once my time serving in uniform was over. I knew that I wanted to continue to serve my country, but I also knew that I wanted to see the world, and to be challenged while doing so. After doing some research into my options I decided that pursuing a career with the CIA was by far the most appealing thing I could possibly imagine. Working in the DC area at the CIA’s headquarters would obviously be an incredible achievement for me, but I still want more than that.…

The NSA started out as the Cipher Bureau of Military intelligence. In July 1917 right before the first World War, Herbert O. Yardley was assigned to command the intelligence agency. After the war was over Henry Stimson who at the time was secretary of state decided that the agency was not worth the money and decided to get rid of the Cipher Bureau of Military Intelligence. They decided to do away with Cipher Bureau of Military Intelligence because the program had questionable policies like having too much public access to information coming in and out of the United States. Heiligenstein wrote in his article A Brief History of the NSA: From 1917 to 2014, “he cited moral opposition to its increasing surveillance, though his reasoning may also have been partly financial.…
The National Counterintelligence Strategy The National Counterintelligence Strategy from the NCIX gives the guidance needed in order to ensure the direction of CI is going the way it should. I think this may be one of the most important objectives on the strategic strategy. But one of the areas that I think it may be lacking is the ability to determine the potential for insider threats that have or had ties to extremist groups. This may be possible for any terror groups or any criminal element that may want intelligence.…

Austin, I have same opinion as yours the CIA model does work in our government. CMO and CIA are working together to get the job done.
