The path of growth never flat, and Teenager always face with various problems. Psychological problems are especially notable, because it affects their whole life. In the journal of “Art therapy with adolescents,” the author focuses on the adolescent development and family environment. Many teenagers ignore their psychological problem and think that is needed by the serious mental case people. In fact, adolescent period is the most important period to build a healthy people. Physical health is one side, and mental health is also necessary for a truly health people. The author also believe that clinical art therapy can be effective for the adolescents and it can help the adolescent concern themselves and society.

Generally, family environment for young people is the most far-reaching, and external environment is also the factor impact them. Although language is an important tool to communicate between man and man, people with depression seem reluctant to share their experience and feeling. In this case, describing their stories by making artworks is an efficiency way to know their heart. The author also mentions that adolescents’ artworks are concerned with their surrounding environment. She gives an example in the journal, which is a painting by an abused and neglected teen. He identified himself as a powerful man with the gun, and shooting people at the mall. This example shows the boy is full of fear and resentment in the society. “Often, teens have no words available to express their deep feelings. In many cases, the image comes first and the understanding of the visualization comes later”. Hence, art therapy does not have compulsory treatment. Moreover, it can improve the relationship between member and member. During the adolescent years, the pressure of life is always created barriers between member and member. Art therapy like a chance to families to know each other. There were often occurring the problems if family members are lack of communicate. For example, a movies “Hide and seek” talking about the communication between the father and daughter. After the mother’s death, the girl become talk less and depression. Father and teacher try to talk with her but it they failed. Then father decided to move in countryside and hope to make his daughter happy. However, father never knows his have dual personality, and his other personality is the murder of his wife. The girl know everything and afraid. Finally, a teacher rescued the girl and the girl never told someone she’s secret. She also has dual personality but she only told her experiment from sketchbook.
In conclusion, clinical art therapy can be effective for young people and help them integrate with society. After the art therapy, these adolescent began care about the society and concern with their relationships. We should not escape when we meet some problem, we could try to talk with family and friends or change a way to solve the problem. Life would become better if we care about
