I personally feel there is no place for racial discrimination in society let alone within the most popular sport in the world. This only gives John terry a bad reputation which he already had next to his name after an incident involving Chelsea team mate at the time Wayne Bridge and his partner Vanessa Perroncel. A story leaked in 2010 that the England and Chelsea captain had made Vanessa Perroncel pregnant and planned a secret abortion. From these two incidents it is clear that John Terry is a figure used to being portrayed as a villain within the press which can overshadow his undoubtable talent as a player.
