Analysis: The Atlanta Arsenal Defense

Improved Essays
It all started with us talking around a group of friends. We talk about sports often and dispute about very many things. The topics most likely relate to sports whether it be NBA matchups, one-on-one matchups. Others include NFL topics such as who will win the super bowl and who are the best players at each position. One day when we were talking at lunch one of my friends said that the Atlanta Falcons Defense is under-rated. I immediately disagreed with him because I believe the only reason why they win is because their offense scores a large amount of points in almost every game. The fewest amount of points that they held a team to this season was thirteen points to a one win and thirteen loss San Francisco 49ers team. The Falcons offense …show more content…
The Packers had been on a terror the past couple of weeks. However, the Packers number one receiver, Jordy Nelson, missed the game from the previous week due to fractured ribs. He was back for this game but was not one-hundred percent healthy. He had to wear a vest that was made from Military-grade kevlar which can be pretty heavy stuff. I believe this was a weakness for the Packers and an advantage for the Falcons defense. He was not ready to be playing yet and they could have used someone who was one-hundred percent ready to go instead of Nelson. The stats show this as Jordy Nelson had a season low of six receptions for sixty-seven yards and one touchdown. Watching the game and knowing his athletic ability he didn't have the same speed and the great moves that he has had in past …show more content…
I usually like to hear there thoughts and take them into consideration and try to understand where they are coming from. However, sometimes people just say somethings that do not make sense what-so-ever. I still listen to them and try to find a way to understand what they are saying. I am not one to just walk away right away if they say something that I don't agree with. I believe if I did that it would be very difficult to be friends with the person because they would just think that I am being rude. Another reason I stay and listen to them instead of just walking away from them is because it might be something that the person is passionate about. Whether it be some type of girlfriend issues, a rough game, or some type of sports topic. If someone is passionate about something I will definitely listen to them and listen to what they have to say and see if I am able to help them out or not. Even if it is something that I don't really care about I will still listen to

They couldn’t be stopped. With five seconds left in the first quarter and at the three yard line, Eli Manning threw a pass to star wide receiver Cole Beasley. Cole Beasley dove into the back of the end-zone and reached his arm out for the ball as time ran out, and caught it for a touchdown! The game was now tied 7-7.…

My discourse community is the Los Angeles Lakers, The lakers are one of the biggest teams in NBA history. They have a common goal which is to win as many world championships as they could so far they have 16 which is second of all time to the Boston Celtics who have 17. They get together for practice every day and spend a lot of time together off the court too, they also have an Instagram page which they upload pictures of players before the games or after games or during practice or they shoe the shoes that the players are wearing. They also have a Facebook page where they put up the latest news and highlights of the last game, and they have a twitter page where they put the latest news and interact with fans, they also have a snapchat. [buf] Matt Cassel I would like to start by saying Matt Cassel isn't a Fantasy relevant QB. With that said the Bills did a good job building a team around him. Cassel excells when he can play possession ball. While he doesn't become fantasy relevant I believe the more ball control offense the bills will run this year will help several of there relevant fantasy football contributors pile up the stats LeSean McCoy This was the most shocking development of the offseason.…

Ezekiel Elliott, a natural athlete born in an athletic family, but now could be considered the best running back in the NFL, leading the NFL in most yards per carry after contact. Thanks to his offensive line, Zeke is just pure talent on the football field, if you ask any running back, fullback, quarterback, or anybody behind the offensive line before a play, they would tell you that the play would not ever succeed without those lineman protecting them. Zeke admits that that statement is true, and you could put anybody behind the cowboys offensive line, and they will do good. But Zeke is a different story, his offensive line definitely did their job and made sure that they opened the hole that should be opened for them, but what happens after…

Oh what a difference a beard make, the New York Jets three weeks ago was written off out of the playoff picture the Jets who started the season 4-2 through the first 6 games was posed to be serious threat. However after finishing 5-5 through 11 weeks there was grumbles of replacing Ryan Fitzpatrick as quarterback with Geno (yes I said Geno) smith from the fan base, which after Fitzpatrick trimmed his beard the jets turn right back around and are on current three game winning streak since. Key to win: The Jets front seven on defense are 1st in the NFL of the run but are 18th in passing though they should have a good showing in Saturday’s game, they will need to stop giving up big plays through the air down the field, the jets have been burned too many times with big plays in terms of yards down the field due to blown coverage’s and mistakes on who they are covering. The jets cannot afford to give up big plays against Dez Bryant and Jason Witten, as well as the jets special teams cannot keep making coverage mistakes as well, the jets spherical team has allowed 6 touchdowns this season via the punt return and kickoff return.…

Grit Paragraph What the Packers did in this game is true grit. There was two minutes left in the game the Packers down by 2. The Lions fans are in the crowd cheering because they think they have already won. The packers have been pushing up the field for a while and they have time for just one more play. They are at the 40 yard line on their side of the field and they have to go 60 yards to get a touchdown.…

I live in a world of crazy numbers and fancy acronyms, the world of sabermetrics. Originally defined by Bill James in 1980, sabermetrics is "the search for objective knowledge about baseball", yet the term has grown into much, much more. Sabermetrics give ordinary people like me, the tools to predict the future, to forecast the worth of a human being with a couple of intricate formulas and a pinch of extrapolation. It appeared to be magic when I first learned about the masses of statistics associated with baseball. I was seven years old when my father started introducing me to his boxes upon boxes of old baseball cards.…

The strikers give Jim Casy a feeling of empowerment. They motivate him to speak about about what he thinks without having to worry about people's religious beliefs. When he was still a preacher he had to restrict his thoughts and actions as to not offend people. But now that he is leading strikers rather than the church, he can freely speak his mind. Another way the strikers made him feel empowered was because they didn't question his leadership.…

This is an important habit in terms of the Laurier program as we do so many projects as a class and presentations that we need to listen to what the person is saying and understand what they're trying to get across before we implicate ourselves into the situation. In the future this will be highly important because if you wish to be respected and heard yourself, you need to listen and understand first. If someone is nothing but rude to you, then the odds of you being friends with them is small. The same goes for respect and trust; if you show understanding and…

In order to get back to winning football games, the defense will have to begin playing better. They will have to get pressure on the opposing QB, so the secondary can play to expectations. The secondary has given up a high percentage of catches for too many yards this season. Defensive schemes allowing CBs to play soft coverage is hurting us regardless of the D line's play. Defense has to create turnovers.…
