It is NFL playoff time. All fans are buzzing with excitement, hoping that this is the year for their team. Teams are preparing, trying to make a splash in the playoffs. In the NFL playoffs, anything is possible, upsets and unexpected victories happen all of the time. So as the divisional round of the NFL playoffs rolls around, let us take a look at each team’s chances at surviving the round.
Eagles (1) vs Falcons (6) This might be the most intriguing matchup in the set of games. The Eagles were the highest seed in the NFC this year, but they are the underdog in this game as star quarterback Carson Wentz tore his ACL and is out for the season. With that, the Eagles have turned to career backup Nick Foles, who has had an ugly season since Wentz was injured. But, the Eagles have one of the top defenses in the league and a very solid running game. On the other hand, the Falcons are fresh off of a super bowl appearance and have just defeated the Rams in the last round, highest scoring offense. The Falcons rank top ten in both total offense yards and defensive yards allowed. Because of the Wentz injury and because the Falcons have one of the most balanced teams in football, the Falcons should be able to pull out a victory in Philadelphia.

The Patriots are a dynasty, they won the super bowl last year and are the first seed in the AFC this year. They are led by transcendent quarterback Tom Brady and a great offense. On the other hand, the Titans are lucky to be here. They barely sneaked into the playoffs and won their previous playoff matchup by one point. They have a superb defense, but an inconsistent offense.
